They attach to the hole at each corner of the leg base and are secured using two 17mm wrenches. It is recommend to use four spikes per leg, but applications may vary depending on terrain conditions.

    Better to have
    These work great for sloped applications. These are one of those things that it's better to have and not need than need and not have. I do staging in New Orleans and our street and terrain here is pretty bad therefore these spikes come in handy often when doing outside application.
