StageDrop Portable Stages and Event Furniture

Honestly I have not used the stage in the field but I can’t wait!! It looks great!! I set it up in the studio equipment and all and it’s perfect!!

My usage is for a drum riser system. Definitely sturdy and portable. Heavy, but not too heavy. The weight keeps it in-place. Haven’t tried drums on the carpeted surface, but seems like it would work- good for preventing kick drum, pedals, etc from sliding around. One person setup. Purchased with lightweight 24 in folding base, skirt and clips. May need stacking cups for un-leveled surfaces. You get what you pay for. Solid portable system.

Solidly built and fast set-up. Our use will be as portable camera platforms that are easy to transport in a small van. Many may prefer the lager, 4'x4' option for camera and operator, but this 3' folding version is a perfect fit for us. On a hard level surface, the built platform is rock solid.

Minus one star because:

- The corners of the aluminum trim are all cut and joined (with a gap) instead of bent at 90º or joined by an inset bracket. One of the open corners on ours must have snagged during manufacturing and arrived (out of an undamaged box) bent out. We were able to repair, but I can see this happing again on others during routine handling.

- The design would be greatly improved with some kind of latch, so the folded panel isn't swinging open during handling. Of course the edge must remain clear to retain its modularity, so perhaps a magnet?

- The included hex key to lock the panel to the legs isn't flush in the track when stowed. We probably won't store it this way or cut it down so it fits without protruding.

This product is exactly what I needed, it is lightweight, idiot proof, and strong! Should be really easy to travel with to. I actually purchased this stage to use as a platform with a wheelchair ramp for my wife, it is literally the perfect size.

Very good platform. Very sturdy. Good quality. We are using this for a wheelchair ramp platform and it works great. Very fast delivery, which I really appreciate.
