Overview

Durable, modular step surface featuring multiple layer sandwich construction and aluminum profile on all sides. Unique accordion-style folding riser provides sturdy support for your step and locks securely to platform via our unique platform locking screws. Supports up to 153 lbs per square foot.

Kit includes all necessary parts for one ascending step: one 8" high step riser, one step platform and hardware for connecting the step to the stage.

Please note: Published heights for IntelliStage brand products refer to leg measurement only and do not include the thickness of the platform. Add 1.25" to the published height to understand the finished height of the IntelliStage platform/riser assemblies.

This is just like the staging piece. Simple to use. Easy to assemble and a no brainer when needing a step up to that 18" platform. Necessary, maybe not but man it sure save people making the big step up. I only gave it a 4 because we purchased the option hand rail to go with it. There aren't holes pre-drilled; so that means we have to drill them. I get why the aren't (for those who don't buy the hand rail) BUT for those who do...having the holes professionally drilled through a somewhat complex design (it is marked and you are told exactly where to drill) BUT if I screw up I pay for it, if StageDrop screws up they ship a new one. So, my only change would be to quick pre-drill the hole for the hand rail when you know railing has been ordered.

Stage step is simply all you need in a step. Its easy to set up and connects well to the staging. I only wish the connectors to the stage were adjustable so you can attach the step at any point you want to along the stage and not just where the post line up to receive the bracket.
